Oknoplast introduces windows for passive homes

The company Oknoplast has launched sales of Winergetic Premium Passive windows for passive homes.

Winergetic Premium Passive windows offer excellent thermal insulation – it has a Uv heat transfer coefficient of 0.78 W/m²K when used in a standard glazing unit with a Ug of 0.6 W/m²K. The windows can also be fitted with triple-glazing units with coefficients of up to Ug = 0.3W/m²K. The new windows feature one of the company’s own devices – the Space Block thermal block, which combines classic steel reinforcements with the best insulators. The thermal conductivity coefficient for the PVC profile with the Space Block is only 0.96 W/m²K, which is possible thanks to the use of aerogel, which serves as an excellent insulator. Winergetic Premium Passive windows are the first to include a substance which had earlier been used in the production of space suits and ships.
